• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, timestamps, referrer
• Cookies: session cookie for sign-in, preference storage for reading progress and game state, analytics cookies from PostHog and Vercel Analytics

How We Collect It

Directly when you sign in or interact with articles and games, automatically via server logs and cookies, and via our service providers.

Why We Use It

• Provide core features: sign-in, resume reading, save and restore game progress
• Personalize your experience: order the home feed and recommendations based on your on-site activity to optimize relevance
• Operate, secure, and improve the site and games
• Understand aggregate usage via PostHog and Vercel Analytics
• Send transactional emails via Resend when needed, such as sign-in links or account notices

Sharing

We share limited data only with service providers who help us run the site: Google for authentication, Vercel for hosting and analytics, PostHog for product analytics, and Resend for email delivery. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use data to improve your experience on peregrinations.xyz, not to sell it to others.

Cookies and Choices

Essential cookies are required for sign-in, resume, and game saves. Analytics cookies help us understand usage. You can block cookies in your browser, but sign-in, resume, and personalization features may not work.

Data Retention

We keep account, reading progress, and game state data while your account is active or until you request deletion. Analytics logs are retained up to 12 months then deleted or aggregated.

• California residents have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or share under CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law

The site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
